We just discovered that comedian Steve Harvey is about to jump back into the game show world, and he will be tapped as the new host of the syndicated show Family Feud.Harvey replaces former host John O'Hurley, who is departing the show after four seasons. Harvey will officially take over the reins next fall, when the current version of the show enters its 12th season.
Harvey is no stranger to the hosting world, having hosted the talent show Steve Harvey's Big Time Challenge for the WB network.
Meanwhile, Harvey will also continue to host his nationally syndicated radio show Steve Harvey Morning Show, heard in 64 markets and by 7 million listeners daily.
One of the Kings of Comedy, Harvey's TV credits including the WB's The Steve Harvey Show and ABC's Me and the Boys. More recently, Harvey wrote the bestselling book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.
Looks like a good move for the former King Of Comedy.
