Dating Film Titled Computer Love Turns Heads- Here's The Tralier!

We just discovered that a new independent film titled Computer Love is set to be released. Produced by a an award-winning collective of Philadelphia bred filmmakers and directed by city native and Temple University alumnus, Mike Pender, Computer Love tells the story of a heart-broken author’s (Kwe Reid) wild, and at times scary, foray into the world of internet dating. While looking for love and affection, Kwe encounters a motley crew of female companions and ends up finding a lot more than he had bargained for. The film was shot entirely on location in Philadelphia and stars emerging area actors Atif Lanier (Kwe), Lee Mekhai and Nicole L. Tucker.

Computer Love’s creators feel that the film’s subject matter is not only entertaining, but couldn’t be more timely. Pender says, “Because people are so busy these days, online dating isn’t just a trend anymore. Online Dating Magazine reported that more than 20 million Americans visit at least one online dating service once a month. Dating websites spent over $400 million dollars on advertising last year and there are millions of users on MySpace and Facebook every day, so I feel that our film is extremely relevant right now.”

Following the Philadelphia premiere, Computer Love will be showing at various theaters across the country and be featured at several major upcoming film festivals. It will also be available on DVD.

The Computer Love World Premiere is scheduled to begin at 7:30 PM On April 8, 2010, and tickets can be purchased for $10 in advance at www.ComputerLovetheMovie.com or at the door.
