We got a chance to catch up with Martin Lawrence last night as he just finished a set at The Comedy Store in Hollywood. We decided to ask him about a potential tour, especially since he has been hitting the stage in Hollywood recently. Martin stated that he just was trying to get a "feel for it" and that he hadn't made a decision one way or another. So, the door is not completely closed -or open- to Lawrence hitting the stage for a national tour. We can say this; we will ask him again in a couple of weeks and get back to you on the scoop!

We just discovered from our sources that there is about to be an urban version of The View, ABC’s very successful day time talker. We hear that the hosts for the new show (tentatively titled The Mix), are Vivica A. Fox, Tony Rock, Miguel Nunez, Melysssa Ford, and Sheryl Underwood is created and executive produced by Michael Mcquarn (who currently is producing Tyrese Gibson’s new show on BET titled First In) and Tracey Edmonds, and written by comedian Chris Spencer. The show’s first guest is rapper/actor Mos Def and the pilot is currently being shopped to the networks.
