Kevin Hart & Tony Rock To Do Benefit Comedy Show For Haiti!

We just discovered that comedian Kevin Hart and Tony Rock are two comics who are about to step up to the plate for a cause- and this one cause is for Haiti.

After the devastation of the Earthquake that hit Haiti last month, there have been several known organizations that have had benefits to raise some financial support for Haiti, and comedy is one of the avenues that have also contributed.

With tons of benefits across the country for Haiti, there haven't been too many comedians of the stature of Hart or Rock who stepped up to donate their time to do a benefit show; until now.

We hear that Hart and Rock are going to perform in New York at the Theatre at Westbury on Long Island, NY on Feb. 20th. As we stated, there will be donations as one dollar of every ticket sold will go to relief efforts in Haiti.

We hear that the money raised will go to Edyeo, which is an organization founded by Unik Ernest, Haitian nightlife impresario. The group recently built a school for 200 children. That was before the earthquake completely destroyed the building. So, they’re looking to rebuild as quickly as possible.

The show will also feature fan favorite, comedian Wil Sylvince with a possibility of other comics who may be added. The show will be co-produced by Jean Alerte and comedy writer/producer Jeffrey Gurian, (http://www.jeffreygurian.com) who also writes the national column Comedy Matters for Punchline Magazine. If you’re in the area, we highly suggest you get to this great show while supporting a great cause! Or call 877-598-8694 for more info.
