Marlon Wayans To Do Religious Film After GI Joe

We just discovered that comedian and actor Marlon Wayans is about to step out again in a different genre besides comedy in a new film titled The Year of Living Biblically for Paramount. The film which is from the book, titled One Man's Humble Quest to Obey the Bible as Literally as Possible, is about a man who spent a year attempting to live by the rules of the Old and New Testaments, with comedic and informative results. Wayans will also produce the film with Julian Farino of HBO's Entourage attached to direct.

Up next for Wayans; he stars in two Paramount summer releases-Dance Flick, a May 22nd release that he also co-wrote and produced, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, set to hit theaters Aug. 7th.
