New Ice Cube & Mike Epps Film Pushed Back

We just heard that the new film written by and starring Ice Cube and Mike Epps titled Janky Promoters which was scheduled to be released this March, has been pushed back to a July release date. No official word from the studio on which exact date but it has been confirmed that the film was pushed to July.
Janky Promoters is about two shady concert promoters (Cube and Epps) get into hot water when their chance to book a superstar rapper goes awry. The film also stars Tamala Jones, Glenn Plummer and comedians Lil JJ and Tiffany Haddish.

Comedian Tony Rock Arrested

After hearing these reports, we had to confirm that the following story was true, and it was. We discovered the report that comedian and actor Tony Rock was arrested. Rock was arrested early Thursday for suspicion of driving under the influence. Word is Rock was pulled over on the 101 Freeway for speeding at around 2:40 a.m., but California Highway Patrol officers say he showed signs of intoxication. After failing field sobriety tests, Rock was arrested and taken to jail. He left a short time later after posting $5,000 bail, the Web site reported.
Rock currently has his own sketch comedy series The Tony Rock Project on MyNetworkTV and is working on a new website project, a new radio project and a possible return to network television.
