In order to get some quick cash to the Haiti relief effort, comedian Mark Prince is hosting an emergency fundraiser that features an ever growing list of comedians Sunday Jan 31st at 8 P.M. at THE J SPOT located at 5581 W. Manchester Ave, in Los Angeles. The evening will feature fantastic comedy, music, poetry, and spoken word, plus liquid refreshments and home-baked goodies will be served.
Admission to the show will be “pay what you can” with 100% of the proceeds from tickets and refreshment sales going to the international humanitarian aid group Doctors Without Borders.
Incase you didn’t know, Doctors Without Borders has maintained a presence in Haiti for years. When the earthquake struck last week, they lost all three of their facilities but were immediately up and running in temporary quarters.
