Our sources have told us that comedian and actor Rickey Smiley is about to make some moves in comedy that not too many have ventured before successfully! First, we hear Smiley is planning a comedy and musical concert series and Smiley will go on tour with singer Fantasia (of American Idol fame), tentatively titled Rickey Smiley & Friends. We hear the tour will go out this fall and this winter, and we will have more news sure to come as this develops. As you all know by now Smiley has been very successful on radio and is currently in 32 markets across the country, and currently we also hear that there may even be a television show on the horizon. No word yet on what type of show it will be, as we hear the show is in the early stages of development.
