Our sources have confirmed to us that comedian and actor Jamie Foxx, is signed on as the new Host of the 2009 BET Awards, to be held on June 28 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. No official word has been released from the network yet, but an official announcement regarding this year's host, nominees, performers and honorees will be made Tuesday during a special broadcast of 106 & Park at 6 p.m. EST. (Note the move from BET to announce the nominees during 106 to boost the ratings)As usual, BET loves the comedians to Host the show, as previous hosts of the annual awards show include comedians Mo'Nique, Steve Harvey, Cedric The Entertainer, Damon Wayans, D.L.
