Today we discovered that Russell Simmons and Stan Lathan (via their Simmons Lathan Media Group) are bringing back poetry via their Def Poetry Jam with HBO with a new show titled Brave New Voices. We hear the new show Brave New Voices will feature 45 different teams of teens from 45 different cites and will be narrated by Queen Latifah. The show is set to premiere on HBO Sundays 11PM beginning on April 5th.Simmons Lathan Media Group in conjunction with Warner Brothers are in partnerships with Youth Speaks to bring this program to television.
