Humor Mill TV Featuring Comedian Eddie Bryant
We just discovered from our friends over at Deadline Hollywood Daily that superstar actors Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith have some rough waters ahead. We hear that Smith's and James Lassiter’s Overbrook Entertainment, and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s 100 Percent Woman Film Investments filed a complaint in California Superior Court this week. I'm told the filing is meant to head off a threatened lawsuit by an investor in Human Contract, a film Pinkett-Smith wrote and directed which went straight to video and apparently lost money. Lawyers filed the complaint for declaratory relief against David Grasso, described in the filing as a Philadelphia real estate mogul who invested in Pinkett-Smith’s film through his Tycoon Entertainment banner. I'm told the complaint was a proactive legal move by Pinkett-Smith and Overbrook after Grasso sent a letter threatening to sue for fraud unless he got his money back. Overbrook is involved because the company manages Pinkett-Smith.Here is an interview with actress Tatyana Ali, probably best known as Ashley Banks on the very popular TV show, The Fresh Prince of Bel Air that featured Will Smith. Well, now all grown up Tatyana Ali discusses her new show on TV One titled Love That Girl, the network's first comedy sitcom. Check out the interview as she discusses this new show and more!
We just discovered that comedian Red Grant is about to step up his film credits, as he has added another project under his belt- and this time as a writer! Grant has just finished writing his second film titled Mr Break Up, adding another film to his list of credits such as acting, directing short films, Host of several BET shows, and many more.
As we predicted several months ago, and was confirmed by the Academy Awards, Mo’Nique was finally nominated for an Oscar. Mo'Nique got the nod for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as an abusive parent in the film titled Precious, which is a family drama based on the novel by Sapphire.
